Life is more mystery than misery

(or at least, that's what I like to think)

Smart women read between the lines, reader’s journal

This is an unusual book review since we are talking more of a notebook, or maybe a book to fill by writing with your unique style, ideas and preferences about literature.

Smart women read between the lines is a very fashionable reader’s journal from Chronicle books ( San Francisco) , perfect for the ones who like to keep track of books to read, novel ideas, jot down fast reviews, lists, or literary events in a cool and organized way.  I found this little treasure lovable for the following reasons:

– It’s has lovely and inspiring illustrations all along and it’s designed as a mix of a book and a notebook.

– It’s divided in four practical sections: Books read and reviewed, Novel ideas, Books to read and Lists.

– The lists section is a very complete and organized one, which includes a set of more than 10 lists that not only help you to keep track of books you have borrowed or books that could be a great gift for a loved one( or for yourself, since I find gifting yourself with a good book is one of the best pleasures in the world, almost as good as receiving the book you wanted from a loved one although not quite), but inspire and inform you with interesting lists that are always useful to have at hand, such recommended literary web sites, a list of the 100 best books ever or a compendium list of Amazing women writers.

– At the end section you will find a special folder to keep notes or other literary mementos, a collection of stickers to mark your books and a set of cute bookmarks.

Smart women read between the lines is one of those little cute and practical things that make you smile and feel inspired when you look at them, a useful and beautiful reader’s journal that helps you  keeping  track of the thousands of books, resources and amazing ideas that fill your unique literary world.
